When you create a product and get ready to offer it for sale, deciding how to price it is not easy.  You have so many choices.  $77, $47, $37, …$7, $9, $10, $5.  Should you sell it as a membership with recurring fees every month?  Should you give it away as a loss leader?  Three easy payments?  14 day trial for $7 to start.

You don’t know if anything is going to sell.  This is one question that takes testing.  Sometimes a lot of testing.

I have seen it all from $1997 to Totally Free.

But in the beginning if you just want to get rolling.  I suggest you do something that is really hard for people to resist.

Because after someone reads a salesletter and we all know when we are reading one.  What is going on in someones head who is seriously interested and has started to get excited.  They are thinking to themselves, I really want to get this.   This sounds perfect, I wonder how much it costs.  I wonder if I can afford this.  I hope this is true and not a scam.

Well imagine for a minute, if you scroll down to see the price and instead of a shocking price that is going to make them STOP and start questioning if they really want to do this or not.  They saw a big Absolutely Free! button.

Phew, what a sense of relief they feel.  ” I can afford free!” ” I thought for sure this was going to be $47″

Do you feel the emotions they might?

I know what you are saying.  I spent a lot of time creating this, I don’t want to give it away for free to everybody.  I wont make any money.

Ahh, but in reality giving it away for free will mean a lot, lot more people seeing your product.  More people telling others about it. More good will and trust about you.  Trust is hard to build on a website especially if you are no guru in your niche.  Everybody doubts online. Especially if someone wants money.

Even with free there are lots of different ways to go:

1. Totally Free – no opt in required
2. Free but opt in required
3. 7 Day Free Trial and then $27 one time fee
4. 14 Day Free Trial and then $47 one time fee
5. 30 Day Free Trial Software (shareware)
6. 30 Day Free Trial and then 3 easy monthly payments of $30

Low initial Cost
1. 14 Day trial $7 immediately and $30 after 14 days
2. 7 Day trial  for $5 and then 3 easy monthly payments of $19

Lots of possibilities.

I prefer this one:

the 7 day free trial $0  not recurring.  Just a one time payment of say $27 after seven days.  So this means you need to set this up with paypal.  $0 on purchase with one payment after seven days.

Really sell this in your salesletter as absolutely free for seven days to check out the complete product.  They can cancel at paypal before seven days and owe nothing.  NO Risk! This can really get you more sales, people like to see what they are getting.  People like free.  But you still have it setup so you will get paid in 7 days.

People are lazy and people are forgetful.  Most wont even bother cancelling if the product was what you promised them.  They might go cancel a recurring monthly product, that is more money and can motivate them enough to cancel especially the second or third month.  A small one time payment is easier to ignore.

With a free trial like this, you really want to get them on your list immediately.

So a good way to set this up is to make it Free 7 day Trial on your salespage.  The button says “click to get this free 7 day trial”.  The next page is a congratulations – Step One of Three  Enter your name and email address (opt in form).  The optin form thankyou page will tell them Step 2 of Three : what they are getting, the price again, cancellation and contact us info.  And a link to your paypal button which you set up.

After payment paypal will send them to your Step Three – Thankyou page with your downloads, and a special bonus if they confirm the optin.  Plus if you feel like it you can add a special offer(upsell, One Time Offer or related affiliate product) The related affiliate product should have a free offer lead-in for the best results.

Try the $0 7 Day Free Trial out.  I think you will find it works well.

Don’t worry about the freebie seekers, you will always get some.  But you don’t even want them as customers, with the 7 day free trial you get buyers on your list.  Freebie seekers wont bother confirming the opt in so your list will be mostly people willing to spend money in your niche!

Here’s the 3 minute review:

Salespage like normal
Price is a $0 7 Day Free Trial (to check out the complete product)
“Click here to get the Free Seven Day Trial”

Leads to Step One  Opt in page

After opt-in send them to Step Two
Short page reviews what they get, risk free, cancel and contact info and your paypal button.

After purchase “$0 + $27 on the seventh day” Paypal sends them to

Step Three – the Download page Which has your download links, Special Offers and a Bonus if they confirm their opt-in.

That’s it. Try it.

All of us recognize that building links is the best way to achieve top search engine rankings. The countless strategies for maximizing back linking campaigns may leave the average person a little mystified. Reading this article will give you the knowledge you need to make a profitable back link campaign.

The first area we should cover is what keywords do we want our pages to rank for. Using your initial page creation keyword list will make this a simple copy and paste job. Create a list of each keyword and URL that you will be targeting. This list can be stored in something as basic as a text file or excel spread sheet.

Now you must determine which places to get your back links from. Keep in mind that your campaign needs to cover a wide array of sites and link types. Fantastic areas to consider when looking for back links are blogs, directories, forums, hub pages, and article sites. These sites can be found through independent seo companies or through your own search engine research.

The key to finding sites to place your links on is that they should be relevant to your sites content. Your links will serve you much better if you place them on websites that have something in common with the theme of yoursite. Remember link building is great for seo but can also bring in a substantial amount of traffic as well.

Make sure to place your keywords in the anchor text of each back link. Doing so ensures that the search engines know what other websites have determined your site is about. An example of this would be to place the keywords Minneapolis seo in your anchor text of your link pointing back to your seo services website.

Now that you know what a good link building program should consist of, you should have a much easier time deciding on what to do yourself and what to outsource. There are many seo companies to choose from so make sure and ask each company where they will link from and and what strategies they will use. Make sure they will use like diversity and great anchor text and you will not go wrong.

Thanks for reading this article on creating a solid link building program. Please continue to study and practice great seo and the Internet will always be a great place to visit.
