I am a web publisher. I build websites of my own, write and submit articles to get traffic and build as many Web 2.0 pages as I can every week. Internet marketing is all about getting as many pages online as possible. But the key to success is making sure the pages have quality useful information so people come back.

Basically, I find what people are searching for in google and I give it to them. Pick a niche and find out what people are looking for and what they are buying online. It takes some research, check out what others are selling and how they are selling it. Then you can build your own site and do the same thing.

I have over 15 websites right now in a variety of niches. Plus over 50 Squidoo lens and hundreds of articles all over the web. Once you build them, then you need to keep getting backlinks to them anyway possible. Do it slowly not all at once. Google likes natural, slow and steady growth.

Use social bookmarking, forum posting and blog comment posting. Plus anytime you can add a page on someone elses website with a link, make sure to do it. It is free traffic and will help your website rank highly.

Making and posting videos online is also a terrific way to get traffic.

While doing all this, learn how to use Adwords to get traffic today. See how your site converts into sales and opt-ins.

Also ezine solo ads can really get your links in front of a lot of people interested in your topic.

Marketing and promotion is critical to success for any webpage. If you aren’t posting ads and new articles and pages on the internet, nobody is going to stumble across them. More is better.

Test all your marketing, make sure and setup tracking for each ad or marketing method to see what is worth doing more of.

I sell my own products, build email lists in niches and promote affiliate products as my main line of income. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Spread your income streams around.

If your site drops in google and you only have one, you are done until it recovers.

I no longer promote or am involved in Network Marketing. I have learned it is not a business for me. You really get tired of finding and recruiting others. Very few will stick around or do any work to succeed. Some people have huge success with mlm but after years of trying it out. I found no program that consistently earned me enough money to feel like it was worth all the effort. I do not recommend any MLM program.

What product do you make? Look at clickbank and the other affiliate centers and find something you know sells well. They actually tell you *gravity or a top seller on Amazon.com or at eBay.

Copy that product(make it better by adding something and put it in your own words or a ghostwriter you hire)
Copy how they are marketing and advertising. Getting backlinks… Who is promoting them.

Get affiliates and JV partners to sell it for you. <– no waiting for SEO to work They advertise for you. Give them a big share of the money. They are doing most of the hard work.

This is important so I want to stress it again: Selling your own infoproducts is profitable and easier since other people are doing the advertising for you. Even better than affiliate marketing.

affiliate marketing will make you some money but with the salespage leaks, bad tracking of affiliate links and even people stealing your commissions it is not a big business. Not part time with a little money anyway.

Yes if you have time and money build a huge network of review pages for a ton of niches and products and affiliate marketing can be very profitable. If you have a year or two to build a huge email list that is responsive. You can make money selling other peoples products. But it takes a lot of time before you figure things out and start earning a lot.

You can try Pay per click affiliate marketing but again tons of competition and very expensive buying ads every day. If you get a few of your own products on the market, you will quickly see how much more profitable it is.

If you go this route. Please don’t spread yourself too thin by getting in several very different niches at once. My mistake was trying to get in lots of niches. Focus on one niche until it is making money. You will have a much easier time if you focus all you efforts on one niche. You also become an expert in your niche because you spend all your time learning it.

You can do the same thing, it is just a matter of doing the work. Focus on one niche site and build it up using all the things I have talked about above.

It works but it takes work and time to start earning a lot of money. But the money does come with patience. Don’t try to rush it. Get your idea for a niche, get your product ready, get your website up and online set up to sell, get affiliates and JV partners to sell it. Keep It Simple and It works!
